These happen to be the four men at Carthage when Joseph Smith, Jr. and his older brother Hyrum were shot and killed by an anonymous and angry mob. Joseph Smith is the founder of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Latter-day Saint movement.
